A Mistake Is A Beautiful Thing is a book of photographs from the personal collection of images taken by (and of) Coloured Publishing co-founders artist Devin Troy Strother and myself. It was released as part of Coloured Publishing's exhibit of the same name at Printed Matter.
The array of photographs with their layouts and captions were designed to provide an overview of how we navigate daily life as people of color in the U.S.
This book was published by Printed Matter and Coloured Publishing in an edition of 500 copies with hardcover and silver foil stamping.
